Campbell Soup Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 4 cups cooked green beans fresh, frozen, or canned
  • 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup, milk, and soy sauce. Stir until smooth.
  • Add the cooked green beans to the mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Fill a casserole dish with oil and pour in the green bean mixture.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the crispy fried onions evenly over the top.
  • After five more minutes, or until the onions are golden and crispy, put the oven back in and continue to bake.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use low-fat milk and reduced-sodium soup.
  • Fresh green beans can be steamed or blanched before adding to the casserole.
