- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning or homemade blend
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 small tortillas corn or flour
- Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes grated cheese, sour cream, salsa, cilantro, lime wedges
Put the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the garlic and onions, sautéing until they release their aroma.
Incorporate the ground beef, using a spoon to break it into smaller pieces, and cook until it achieves a browned appearance.
Mix in the taco seasoning along with water, allowing the mixture to simmer for five minutes until it reaches a thicker consistency.
Warm the tortillas in either a dry skillet or the microwave.
