Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  • In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt by whisking them together.
  • Incorporate the eggs, milk, and melted butter, continuing to whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and apply a light coating of butter.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet, ensuring it swirls to cover the bottom evenly.
  • Prepare the crepe for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the edges start to lift effortlessly. Subsequently, turn the crepe over and continue cooking for another 30 seconds.
  • Continue this process with the remaining batter.
  • Whip the heavy cream until it achieves stiff peaks.
  • Fill each crepe with sliced strawberries and a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  • Fold or roll the crepes and sprinkle with powdered sugar prior to serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of whipped cream.
  • Add a drizzle of chocolate sauce for extra indulgence.
