  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage (crumbled)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for greasing the baking sheet)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with butter or parchment paper.
  • Extend the crescent dough into a rectangular shape, ensuring to pinch the seams together.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, then mix in cooked sausage and cheddar cheese.
  • Spread the egg mixture over the dough, roll it into a log, and cut into 8 pieces.
  • Place the slices on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve warm, optionally garnished with herbs or extra cheese.

Notes

  • You can substitute the sausage for bacon, ham, or even vegetables for a vegetarian version.
  • Try adding a drizzle of hot sauce for a spicy kick!
