Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mashed bananas about 2-3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree canned or fresh
  • ½ cup Oil or unsalted butter melted
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ Teaspoon Teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Chopped nuts or chocolate chips optional

Spices

  • 1 Teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ½ Teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • ½ Teaspoon Ground ginger
  • ¼ Teaspoon Ground cloves optional

Instructions

  • Don't forget to preheat the oven by setting the temperature to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  • Combine the mashed bananas with pumpkin puree, oil, eggs, and vanilla until well-mixed.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, spices, salt, and sugar.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in optional nuts or chocolate chips.
  • Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, then allow it to cool for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
