Ingredients

  • 4 thinly sliced chicken breasts ~1 pound total
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese for garnish Optional

Instructions

  • Dry the Chicken: Use paper towels to thoroughly pat the chicken breasts dry, which will enhance the adherence of the seasoning and minimize steaming.
  • Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, pepper, and salt in a bowl, then coat both sides of the chicken.
  • In a skillet, warm olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until it achieves a golden brown color and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken while it cooks for added flavor.
  • Optionally, garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.

  • Marinate the chicken with the spices and olive oil for 30 minutes before cooking.
